Merchandise

The goal of the marketplace during the festival is to allow our vendors to sell authentic African-related merchandise. However, we do allow a small portion of vendors to sell non-African related merchandise.

Merchandise that may appear violent (knives, guns, alcohol, drugs), vulgar, or tobacco related are prohibited. Let’s create a world-class event that offers unique and authentic that will culturally enrich the entire community’s experience. Columbus African Festival reserves the right to reject any application. You will be notified should we have concerns regarding your merchandise. Failure to comply will result in being banned from future festivals.

Food Vendors

The goal for our Food vendors is to promote cultural awareness, highlight authentic, unique and creative African cuisine and expose some of the talented African “mom-and-pop” chefs in town. Let’s create a world-class event that offers high-quality food that will culturally enrich the entire community’s experience. However, we do allow a small portion of vendors to sell non-African food items so no one goes home hungry! Columbus African Festival reserves the right to reject any application. You will be notified should we have concerns. Failure to comply will result in being banned from future festivals.
